Snowboarding

Snowboarding in the Pacific Northwest has been a lot of fun. This year I had a set of trick goals, including switch riding, 180’s, 360’s and tame dogs. I did a lot of dryland practice leading up to this season, including sessions at a trampoline gym to work on my rotation technique. As it turns out, the trampoline gym is almost as fun as going on the mountain!

I also made a goal to record some of that fun so I could keep a memory of my random acrobatics. While working on tame dogs (a form of cartwheel-style front flip) I broke my wrist, which put a slight damper on filming and spring skiing in general. I hope to make a much more interesting video for future seasons.

Here is the final result from my last day of riding this season: http://youtu.be/kIvlWMtxLsY
